Department of Political Science

About

The department of Political Science was established in 2015, the same year in which the college was established. The department has been oriented towards being a model of academic excellence. In addition to that, department maintains a seminar library with very rich collection of text-books and reference books. The Department ensures a friendly cohesion between teachers and students. Every year, students of the department actively participate in the college annual sports.

Course

Presently honors and program course are offered. These Courses are affiliated to Sidho-Kanho-Birsha University, Purulia.

Facilities

There are twenty five in take capacity in honors Course. Several number of text books and reference books both English and Bengali versions are available in the college central library. Our teaching method is Student oriented.

Research

This is Social Science department, every academic year we have organized workshop, Special Lecture, State Level Seminar and National Seminar. We are trying to bring a major and minor research project. Very recent department is going to published departmental journal
