About

The Department of Physics of Government General Degree College at Manbazar II was started on July,2015. Facultieswith a blend of young and experienced ones who are actively involved in teaching and research. The classroom and the laboratory are well equipped with modern facilities and brand new instruments.

Course

At Present, only B.Sc. Program Course is offered under CBCS. This course is affiliated under SidhoKanhoBirsha University, Purulia. The intake capacity of students is 20 only.Our future plan is to start B.Sc. Physics Honours course in coming academic session.

Facilities

State of the art laboratory facilities are available to conduct practical experiments. There is a dark room to facilitate several optics experiments.

Research

This is an Under Graduate Department. In near future the Department will be full flagged in its faculty strength and also in its infrastructural development with all the basic modern facilities for carrying out Research work smoothly. The Department while proud of its short past, is marching ahead to achieve excellence.
