SC/ST/OBC and Minority Cell:

Ensuring fair access to higher education for marginalized groups, including SCs, STs, OBCs, and Minorities, is one way that Government General Degree College, Manbazar II, which is tucked away in the SC, ST belt, demonstrates its dedication to the Indian Constitution. As required by Article 340, Article 29, and Article 30 of the Constitution, the college hopes to empower and support students from these areas through the creation of the Backward Class Cell. The college encourages comprehensive growth and well-informed career decision-making among its students by actively seeking support from a variety of sources and encouraging involvement in career orientation.

This Cell's main goal is to handle and settle any matter pertaining to the college's SC, ST, OBC and Minority students. Raising awareness of the numerous scholarship programmes provided by the State Government, the Government of India, the UGC, the DST, and other NGOs and agencies among SC, ST, OBC and Minority students is one of the specific objectives.
